Why hire a qualified duct cleaner
Experienced and earnest professionals are always better.
Furnace and air duct cleaning is not overly complex but does require a specific set of training skills matched with the right equipment and the right mentality. When you hire a certified QUADCA member, you will get a duct cleaner who has the right equipment, the right experience, the right knowledge and cares about getting the job done right for you.
The air duct cleaning industry is no different from any other industry—you will see bad actors and potential scams, or new duct cleaners who mean well, but lack experience and use the wrong equipment. Most times the bad actors will have the right equipment but only care about getting the job done quickly so that they can make as much money as possible. If they’re only in your home for 20-30 minutes, there is no way they’ve had enough time to clean your ducts properly.
More at risk than your budget.
Making sure that your HVAC systems are cleaned properly is incredibly important. If they aren’t properly maintained, they could increase your energy bills and even cause fires in your home. Working with professionals who care will spare you heartaches in the future.
At QUADCA, we ensure that, before each of our members is granted our Air Duct Cleaners Certification, they pass our 3 key areas of Criteria which is:
The right equipment
The right Knowledge
Customer care.
What to expect from a certified HVAC professional.
A proper cleaning will take anywhere from 2 hours to 6 hours. This time can be dependent on the level of cleaning you choose to go with, like adding a brush cleaner. The size and complexity of your home may also factor into the expected time.
Pricing should be anywhere from $300 for a single-family home, or $1,000+ if you have multiple furnaces. If you’ve opted for an advanced cleaning process which may include brushing, sanitizing, sealing etc, the cost will also be around $1,000.
